My family and I love coming here for brunch and lunch. The staff are welcoming and kind. This did not happen overnight though, we have been coming here for years and that is the reason why. After I had my son I craved soup so this is where we went and the staff fell in love with my boys which is how the relationship started. The food us superb! We have tried about half the menu and have never been disappointed. You really need to be patient because they are really busy. Keep in mind that this is a family style restaurant so don't expect anything fancy or upscale. This spot reminds me of my grandmother's kitchen where she would make a hugs pot of food and serve the whole neighborhood. That's the vibe that you can expect. My favorites are the beef stew and duck soup. The have the cooked hot sauce but you need to ask for it. Parking is definitely challenging and please be careful because this is the tenderloin so don't leave anything valuable in the car or be flashy. You are here for the FOOD!

this noodle spot is a must try. the host was so nice and enthusiastic and made me feel so welcome. really fast service we got seated and had our soups within minutes. we were really craving soup at the time so slight biased here but the broth is amazingly flavorful and i love the portions of shrimp. for the no 2 special i recommend getting the soup separate from the noodles and mixing black vinegar into the noodles. they are very considerate with the sauce availability too as every table was consistent with their sauce trays. overall a great lowkey spot if ur craving noodle soup! absolutely coming back here when im near the area.

I have no idea what Hai Ky means in Vietnamese....but my 'merican translation means excellent/kind service and delicious food. Let's use that in a sentence..."Dang Jake, that food was Hai Ky! Let's go back!" We had egg rolls that were small but they gave us a bunch, beef ball soup, and duck leg soup. They were excellent! The place isn't nice inside. But the food sure makes up for it! Don't bring someone who optimizes for nice interior over good food. Frankly why would we bring them to dinner anyway...but that's a subject for a different discussion!

I will recommend this place to my friends and family. Their homemade egg noodles and soy milk are the best. I should have found them earlier. I'm from Thailand I love noodles and soup. Now I found my favorite place already.
